Presidency International School hosted its Science Fair 2024 today, the 23rd November, embracing the theme “Think & Innovate for a Green World.” Featuring over 270 science projects by students from Classes II to A Levels, the event celebrated the transformative role of science in sustainable development.

Presided over by the Rector of Presidency Education, Dr. Imam Hasan Reza, the fair was inaugurated by the hon’ble Chief Guest Professor Dr. Upama Kabir, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, University of Dhaka. Applauding the students, Dr. Kabir remarked, “Innovation is not just about solving problems; it’s about making life meaningful and fun.”

Students showcased advanced experiments, groundbreaking models, and eco-conscious solutions addressing global challenges like renewable energy and biotechnology. The day culminated in a cultural programme and a Prize-Giving Ceremony. Dr. Reza expressed pride stating, “This fair exemplifies our students’ curiosity and determination to innovate for a better future.”

The Science Fair 2024 was more than an exhibition—it was a testament to Presidency’s commitment to nurturing changemakers through education, creativity, and innovation.

Awards were presented by the Chief Guest and dignitaries, including professors from Chittagong University and CUET. Distinguished attendees included Mr. Ashraful Hoque Khan Swapan, Chairman of Academic Management; Mr. Gulzar Alam Alamgir, Member Secretary; and school leaders, teachers and guardians and students.
